We use your information for the following purposes:

• To generate AI-powered garden designs tailored to your space and preferences.
• To provide climate-aware plant recommendations based on your location.
• To create and display personalized budget plans for your garden projects.
• To operate and display the community inspiration hub.
• To process in-app purchases and manage your subscription.
• To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• To send you push notifications about gardening tips, reminders, and app updates (with your permission).

3 AI-Generated Content & Third-Party Services

GardenVibe uses AI technologies to generate garden designs and plant recommendations. Your inputs and preferences may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate content. We ensure these providers meet appropriate data protection standards.

We may also use third-party analytics services (such as Firebase or similar platforms) to understand app usage and improve our services.

4 Location Data

We request access to your approximate location solely to provide accurate climate-based plant recommendations. We do not track your precise GPS location continuously. Location data is not sold or shared with advertising partners.

5 User-Generated Content & Community

When you share garden designs in the GardenVibe community hub, your content becomes visible to other users within the app. You retain ownership of your content, but grant GardenVibe a non-exclusive license to display it within the app. You can delete your shared content at any time through the app settings.

6 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the app (AI processing, analytics, cloud hosting), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Apple Sign-In: If you use Sign in with Apple, your authentication is handled by Apple's privacy-preserving framework.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
• Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of the business assets.

7 Data Retention

8 Children's Privacy

GardenVibe is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure storage practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
